The result is mental fogginess, decreased energy and susceptibility to repetitive stress injuries. Chair massage can help prevent tension headaches, neck pain, back problems and others. A recent article published in the American Psychologist detailed the results of a study showing medical school students reporting being more alert and performing significantly better on complicated tasks like math problems after getting 15-minute chair massage. The overall session is designed to reduce physical as well as mental stress, but massage can help boost the immune system as well. Chair Massage sessions give a productive and effective way for highly functioning people to take a little time out.
